Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan Certified Nurse Aide Certification or have completed a Michigan approved CNA training program and are eligible to test.
• One year of experience in the long-term care, hospice, or health care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents in a respectful environment.
• Follow individualized care plans and assist the charge nurse with planning and documentation.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility as outlined in the care plan.
• Maintain residents’ privacy, dignity, and comfort; report any changes to the nurse-in-charge.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and communicate timely to staff.
• Complete documentation in PCC and ensure safety and infection control procedures.
