Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a nursing assistant training program or equivalent experience.
• Current certification as a nursing assistant (CNA).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the nursing staff.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Assist with documentation and charting of patient information.
