Job summary

Recover-Care Heartland in Kansas is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine nursing care under the supervision of licensed staff, ensuring residents receive safe, respectful support during daily activities and therapies.

You will assist with hygiene, mobility, and transportation to appointments; respond promptly to call lights; participate in in-service training; and uphold infection control and resident rights while maintaining a professional image.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a CNA.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Need patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm for residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare residents for therapy, activities, doctor visits, and religious services.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Attend in-service trainings and meetings as directed.
• Assist residents with hygiene and self-care.
• Bathe residents as assigned and support self-help activities.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Document required information each shift.
• Present a professional image to residents and families.
• Protect consumer/resident rights.
