Job summary

CHI Health's Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). You will be cornerstone of patient care, delivering basic care under RN direction, supporting transport, and contributing to the patient's plan of care as part of an interdisciplinary team, upholding high standards of conduct and patient well-being.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the 75-hour state approved Nursing Assistant course.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification in NE.
• Basic Life Support - CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate as part of the nursing process under supervision.
• Contribute to the assessment of the health status of the healthcare consumer.
• Contribute to the plan of care through observation, data collection and communication of findings.
• Provide basic patient care activities based on the plan of care and as delegated.
• Contribute to the evaluation of the healthcare consumer by observing responses to interventions.
• Documents cares provided in the healthcare consumer's record.
