Job summary

Bristol Hospice Omaha is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CHHA) to join our day shift team in Omaha, NE. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing personal care, vital signs, and assistance with daily activities to comfort patients.

Ideal candidates are CNAs with strong communication skills, autonomy, and empathy. Eligibility includes CA HHA if applicable and a willingness to undergo background checks and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for all states.
• California: CNA in good standing and Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including baths, oral hygiene, and changing bed linen.
• Assist in dressing and undressing patients as assigned.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist in feeding.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the Case Manager.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion.
• Provide respite for family/caregiver and maintain a clean living area.
