Job summary

Liberty Health and Rehab in Canton, NC is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care to residents during the day shift. You will assist with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all ADLs, while performing denture care and basic oral hygiene as part of daily routines.

Responsibilities include completing care records, supporting the charge nurse, and participating in in-service trainings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and show genuine concern for their welfare.
• Willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
• Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all ADLs as needed during shift.
• Assist with oral hygiene including denture care when getting up in the morning, after meals, at bedtime, and/or when needed.
• Completes patient care records at end of shift, including accurate I and O.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.
