Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in Oklahoma. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, positioning, etc.
• Taking vital signs from patients, such as temperature, blood pressure and oxygen saturation rate.
• Talking with residents and relaying their concerns/issues to a supervising nurse or physician.
• Recording observations in a patient chart, which becomes part of the medical record and reporting concerns to supervisor.
• Helping to turn or lift disabled patients or those with temporary mobility issues.
• Basic care tasks like grooming, dressing, bathing, eating and exercising.
