EGA Associates, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patients in geriatrics and extended care. The CNA will assist with personal hygiene, ADLs, and comfort measures under supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring safety and well-being.

Qualifikationen

• Current CNA certification in good standing.
• 1 year of recent experience.
• Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and infection control.
• Ability to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate care.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Personal Care & Hygiene: Assist bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, shaving; support bathroom mobility; assist with showers.
• ADLs: Serve meals, feed as needed, assist ambulation, turning, positioning, provide nourishment between meals.
• Adjunct Care: Administer enemas, douches, dressings, preps, ice/heat, sitz baths; apply restraints as directed.
• Monitoring & Documentation: Check vital signs and weight; record intake/output; perform glucose monitoring.
• Patient Comfort & Support: Transport patients; respond to call lights; provide emotional support.
• Compliance & Confidentiality: Complete documentation; follow policies; maintain confidentiality; follow Joint Commission standards.
• Special Assignments: Provide one-to-one observation, including virtual observation, as required.
