Qualifications

• Must hold a current Texas CNA certification.
• Ability to document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meals.
• Strong communication, self-discipline and patience.
• Genuine care for elderly and disabled individuals.
• Adherence to Patient Bill of Rights and employee responsibilities.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing.
• Maintain resident environment: change linens and stock supplies.
• Support mobility: ambulate and transfer residents with assistive devices.
• Record vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Assist with positioning for comfort and safety.
• Encourage engagement: ROM exercises and reality orientation.
