Job summary

Pinnacle-Health- is seeking a caregiver to provide routine daily nursing care for elders in a facility setting. The role requires observing standards and policies while delivering compassionate, respectful service to residents and their families.

Candidates should be able to read and write English, make independent decisions when needed, and collaborate harmoniously with staff. Vaccinations must be up-to-date prior to hire.

• Must have patience and cheerful disposition when caring for aging residents.
• Understanding of social, psychological and recreational needs of the aged.
• Genuine desire to work with the aged.

• Able to cope with mental and emotional stress of the job.
• Must relate to ill, disabled elderly and challenging individuals.
• Sight and hearing or use of prosthetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to elders in accordance with facility policies.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and personal care as trained, including lifting up to 50+ pounds.
• Maintain up-to-date vaccination records and comply with safety standards.
