Care Initiatives is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate care team across more than 40 skilled nursing communities throughout Iowa. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate with shift differential and benefits, and provides opportunities to grow through company-paid training.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, offer emotional support, monitor health, and collaborate with the care team to ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in Iowa or ability to activate certification.
• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship while maintaining a positive environment.
• Communicate with residents, families and healthcare team.
• Monitor residents' health including routine vital checks.
• Encourage resident recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment.
