Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate care team across more than 40 skilled nursing communities in Iowa. Full-Time or Part-Time schedules available with competitive hourly rate and shift differential.

As a CNA, you will assist with daily living activities, provide emotional support and companionship, monitor health, and engage residents in activities while maintaining infection control standards. A CNA certification in Iowa (or activation) is required.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of Iowa or ability to activate certification.
• Strong commitment to resident care and professionalism.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team.
• Monitor health including routine vital checks.
• Encourage resident recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
