Job summary
The Laurels of Carson City, part of Ciena Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and comfort under licensed supervision. You will assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, mobility, and monitoring health signals, while maintaining safety and accurate records.

Qualifications
- High School Graduate/GED.
- State Tested Nursing Assistant certification is required or completion of state-approved training and pass state competency exam within 120 days.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, oral hygiene and feeding.
- Measure and record vital signs, weight, intake/output as directed.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics.
- Respond promptly to call lights and changes in condition; report observations to licensed staff.
- Support residents' independence and dignity while ensuring safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility procedures.
- Follow infection control and universal precautions at all times.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment; provide postmortem care as required.
