The Laurels of Fulton is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Michigan facility. You will provide direct resident care, assist with activities of daily living and support licensed nursing staff.

The role emphasizes safety, dignity and compassionate interaction with residents. Responsibilities include documenting vital signs, assisting with mobility, and adhering to infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the certification board or a state approved CNA program.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Computer skills are required for documentation and basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and feeding.
• Record vital signs, weight and meal intake as directed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and positioning using proper body mechanics.
• Respond to call lights and report changes to licensed staff promptly.
• Maintain safety, comfort and resident independence while supporting care plans.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions at all times.
• Assist with dementia care and observe residents for changes in condition.
• Complete non-resident care tasks such as cleaning and upkeep of areas as assigned.
