Ciena Healthcare in Fenton, MI is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for 2nd shift. You will provide direct resident care, assist with ADLs, and support licensed nurses to ensure safe, high-quality care in a respectful environment.

Responsibilities include vitals, mobility assistance, documentation, infection control, and emotional support. Applicants must be CNA-certified with state registry in good standing; high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinent care as applicable, oral hygiene and feeding.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, percentage of meal consumed intake/output as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and position using proper body mechanics and lift equipment as applicable.
• Respond promptly to call lights, resident needs, and changes in condition; report observations to licensed nursing staff.
• Support residents' independence and dignity, while ensuring safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and in accordance with facility procedures
• Follow infection control, safety, and universal precaution guidelines at all times.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive living environment
• Maintains a clean, safe and comfortable environment
• Provides postmortem care
• Contributes to the residents' assessment (MDS/CAA's) and the plan of care.
