Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team in Michigan. The CNA will support residents with daily living activities and work under the supervision of a nurse to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, transfers, and routine health monitoring. Strong collaboration with nursing staff and compassionate communication with residents are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires teamwork with nursing staff and effective communication.
• Ability to monitor and report patient changes.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• Meet health requirements per law.
• Able to relate professionally with residents, families, and staff.
• Basic computer literacy and aptitude to learn company apps.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, grooming).
• Provide hygiene support and mobility assistance (transfers, walking, exercising).
• Turn and reposition bedridden residents.
• Monitor and record vital signs under supervision.
• Support meal planning and dietary restrictions per resident needs.
• Respond to patient calls and requests promptly.
• Assist in transportation to appointments as needed.
• Perform routine housekeeping and supply gathering.
