Job summary

Harmony Senior Services seeks a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide quality daily living assistance to residents and encourage independence. You will help with activities, coordinate with the nursing team, and participate in community activities for meaningful resident experiences.

Responsibilities include reporting incidents, maintaining documentation, and performing light housekeeping. A valid CNA license and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) are required, with

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license in the state of residence and be in good standing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized and able to collaborate with all levels of personnel.
• Be a contributing member of the nursing team and follow supervisor instructions.
• Polite and respectful to residents, visitors, and coworkers.
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Lift 50 lbs, push or carry 25 lbs; transfer residents safely.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and maintain independence where possible.
• Encourage participation in community activities and meaningful experiences.
• Report incidents, care concerns, and document appropriately.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas and dining areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to calls for assistance and emergencies.
• Assist with move-in transitions and provide emotional support.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and participate in records updates.
