Job summary

Bethesda Dilworth is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide essential patient care in a nursing unit. You will perform routine duties, document patient information, and support residents with daily activities as directed by nursing staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility, and ensuring safety and comfort. The role requires CPR certification if not already obtained, and offers benefits for regular status employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state of employment.
• CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care related to hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety as directed by the Charge Nurse.
• Document appropriately into patient record charting based on skill level and guidelines.
• Orient new resident to the facility and unit; ensure armband and admission kit are provided.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs; perform rounds.
• Take vital signs, weights, and monitor intake/output; report to Charge Nurse.
