Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion CNA training from accredited program.
• Valid CNA certificate number.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to use computer or tablet to enter resident data.

Responsibilities

• Answering call lights
• Provide nursing care with privacy
• Make residents comfortable (assist to bed, provide water)
• Assist in feeding residents
• Help with daily grooming, showers
• Safe lifting and transferring residents
• Assist residents to sit, stand and walk
• Transport residents to dining area and return
• Report changes to Nurse Supervisor
• Maintain confidentiality of resident records per HIPAA
• Follow facility policies and infection control procedures
• Report occupational exposures to supervisor
• Other duties as assigned
