Job summary

Responsibilities

• Answering call lights.
• Ensure privacy in nursing care.
• Make residents comfortable (assistance with bed, water, etc.).
• Assist in feeding residents (cutting food, spoon feeding).
• Help with daily grooming, showers or sponge baths.
• Proper lifting and transferring residents (wheelchair to bed, etc.).
• Help residents sit, stand and walk.
• Transport residents to dining area and back.
• Timely reporting of changes to Nurse Supervisor.
• Protect confidentiality of resident files per HIPAA.
