Job summary

North Valley Hospital District is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Long Term Care Facility in Washington. The role delivers compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting daily living, mobility, and dignity in a home-like setting.

The CNA collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, maintains records, and advocates for residents’ wellbeing while following safety and infection control protocols. PT non-exempt position with base pay hourly.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with residents, families and team members.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a compassionate, patient‑focused approach to caregiving.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience with healthcare systems or related training.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding and toileting.
• Provide mobility support, transfers, ambulation, and use of assistive devices.
• Take and record vital signs and patient data; assist with range-of-motion and therapeutic activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in residents’ records and communicate updates during shift changes.
