Preferred Care Health Centers is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide vital support across inpatient and long-term care settings. You will assist nursing staff with daily care tasks, monitor residents, and help ensure comfort and well-being.

The role requires CNA certification, knowledge of basic medical terminology, and strong interpersonal skills to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with diverse resident needs is advantageous and essential for patient safety

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inpatient settings or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology is essential.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including ICU settings if required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others.
• State certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.

Responsabilités

• Observing residents and monitoring health changes.
• Reporting health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assisting with personal hygiene (bed baths, shaving, etc.).
• Setting up meal trays and documenting food/fluid intake.
• Feeding residents and providing nutritional supplements.
• Making beds and keeping spaces clean and tidy.
• Transporting residents within the facility.
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all resident and facility data.
