Job summary

Preferred Care Health Centers is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support patients in inpatient and long-term care settings. You will assist nursing staff with daily care tasks, monitor residents, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

Your dedication improves comfort and well-being for those we serve. Certification as a Nursing Assistant is required, with preferred experience in acute or long-term care and a solid grasp of basic medical terminology.

Qualifications

• State CNA certification is required.
• Experience in inpatient settings or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology essential.
• Experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including ICU settings if required.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents and report health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene, including bed baths and shaving.
• Set up meal trays, document food/fluid intake, and feed residents.
• Make beds and keep residents' spaces clean and tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility and turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data.
