Job summary
Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Designated Nursing Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant (DNA/CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care in our skilled nursing community. Care is delivered based on Individualized Service Plans to meet each resident's clinical, personal, nutritional, and restorative needs.
You will collaborate with licensed nurses, assist with ADLs, document accurately, monitor vital signs, and support restorative and care planning programs while promoting dignity and safety for
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification per state regulations.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Skilled nursing or senior care experience preferred.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and peak service times.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care based on Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
- Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, mobility, dining, and toileting.
- Obtain and report vital signs, intake, and changes in condition.
- Partner with licensed nurses on restorative and care planning programs.
- Support fall prevention, skin care, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and restorative records.
- Respond promptly to resident, family, and visitor concerns.
- Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines at all times.
