Sunrise Senior Living in Bethesda, Maryland is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on resident care in a skilled nursing environment. You will work under licensed nurses to support ADLs, vital signs, and restorative activities while maintaining dignity and safety for residents.

This role requires active CNA certification and a high school diploma, with preference given to candidates with prior skilled nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification per state regulations.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Skilled nursing or senior care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and peak service times.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care based on Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, mobility, dining, and toileting.
• Obtain and report vital signs, intake, and changes in condition.
• Partner with licensed nurses on restorative and care planning programs.
• Support fall prevention, skin care, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and restorative records.
• Respond promptly to resident, family, and visitor concerns.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines at all times.
