Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Charlottesville, VA, seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver direct care under supervision, support residents’ daily needs, and uphold individualized service plans in our skilled nursing community.

You will collaborate with licensed nurses, document care accurately, assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, and help promote safety, dignity, and quality of life while working flexible evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification per state regulations
• High School Diploma/GED
• Skilled nursing or senior care experience preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and peak service times

Responsibilities

• Deliver care based on Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, mobility, dining, and toileting
• Obtain and report vital signs, intake, and changes in condition
• Partner with licensed nurses on restorative and care planning programs
• Support fall prevention, skin care, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and restorative records
• Respond promptly to resident, family, and visitor concerns
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines at all times

Certified Nursing Assistant CNA | Skilled Nursing Pay Range: 17.30 - 21.70
