Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Fort Belvoir, VA is seeking a Designated Nursing Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant (DNA/CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care in our skilled nursing community. You will work under the supervision of licensed nurses and support residents' clinical, personal, nutritional, and restorative needs.

Responsibilities include following ISP plans, assisting with ADLs, reporting changes, documenting care, and participating in safety and infection-control practices.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification per state regulations.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Skilled nursing or senior care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and peak service times.

• Obtain and report vital signs, intake, and changes in condition.
• Partner with licensed nurses on restorative and care planning programs.

• Respond promptly to resident, family, and visitor concerns.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines at all times.
