Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical/patient care tasks under supervision of an RN or physician to support patients and staff.
• Collects, labels and transports specimens as assigned; obtains 12-lead EKGs; assists with patient hygiene and nutrition.
• Monitors patient safety, assists with ambulation and positioning, responds to call lights, and documents patient data per plan of care.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and ensures unit readiness for EMR downtime.
