Job summary

Home, Hope and Healing, Inc. is seeking a qualified CNA to provide in-home care for a pediatric client in the Oakland area. Shifts include days, evenings, and overnights seven days a week, with options for Per Diem, Part Time, or Full Time.

You will perform personal hygiene, daily living activities, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and other tasks per the client’s care plan. A supportive team and ongoing education from regional Nurse Managers are provided.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required.
• One year of clinical home care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Background checks must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1, client-centered care and services.
• Assist with daily living activities and home tasks as per care plan.
• Follow client care plan and coordinate with Nurse Managers for ongoing support.

Home, Hope and Healing, Inc. is seeking a CNA to work with a Pediatric client in the Oakland area. This family could use your help for any of the following shifts: days, evenings, and overnights 7 days a week.

• Provide 1-on-1, client-centered care and services
• Flexibility to work Per Diem, Part Time, or Full Time in the location that you choose

You will provide in-home assistance that is part of the client’s authorized and individual care plan. Duties may include:

• personal hygiene – bathing, grooming and oral care; dressing and undressing; meal preparation and feeding; transfer and/or mobility; safe restroom use and maintaining continence
• activities of daily living such as meal preparation; assistance with communicating on the telephone, email, or internet; general housework such as laundry, dishes, and maintaining a hygienic place of residence

Our model of care includes regional Nurse Managers who provide ongoing support, supervision, and education to members of the team.

Requirements

• active CNA certification
