Job summary

Columbiana Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our all-shifts team. Our CNAs are central to resident care, supported by stable staffing and a hometown atmosphere.

You will help with daily activities and provide compassionate care to residents who deserve dignity and independence. Your role includes assisting with bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, and vital signs, while collaborating with nurses to maintain comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Compassionate and respectful approach to caring for older adults.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, hospital, or assisted-living is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Help with meals and dining.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Obtain and record vital signs as assigned.
• Observe residents and promptly communicate changes to the nursing team.
• Support residents with activities of daily living.
• Maintain resident comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Work closely with nurses and other members of the care team.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help create a clean, comfortable, and positive environment for residents.
