Adams Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Alexander City, Alabama is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our supportive nursing team. Immediate hiring with shifts including evening, day, night, full-time, and PRN.

Responsibilities include direct resident care, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living, while maintaining dignity and safety. Alabama CNA certification required; long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Alabama
• Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and dependable with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents including assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene)
• Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to the nursing team
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and input/output as directed
• Ensure residents' comfort, safety, and dignity at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and team members
• Participate in care planning and implementation under licensed nursing staff
