Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Warwick, RI is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Harbor 2nd Shift Part Time to deliver attentive resident care in a warm, home-like setting.

You will assist with activities of daily living, document care, observe changes, and support residents through meaningful engagement. A valid CNA/HHA/LNA license is required; dementia care experience is a plus; prior skilled nursing or assisted living experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Compassionate care and patient-centered approach essential.
• Ability to work as part of a care team and communicate with residents and staff.
• Experience providing quality resident care is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
