Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver care to residents in a warm, home-like setting at Blenheim-Newport, Middletown, RI.

The role emphasizes assisting with ADLs, documenting care, and engaging residents with empathy and excellent service. RN/LPN supervision applies, and prior dementia experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid Rhode Island CNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes in health or behavior to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid Rhode Island CNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
