BrightStar Care Anchorage is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for home care. You will work 7pm-7am with overnights Mon-Tues-Wed, supporting clients in their homes with hygiene, mobility and daily activities.

Responsibilities include vital signs, ROM, transportation assistance and ensuring client safety. Requirements include CNA certification, Alzheimer's/dementia experience, CPR and HIPAA compliance. Weekly pay and flexible hours are offered.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a nursing assistant program.
• Certified CNA.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with patients with Alzheimer's/Dementia.
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Reliable transportation to Downtown Chicago.
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Provide client with hygiene care as directed including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, feeding and light housekeeping.
• Take and record vital signs and basic measurements when needed.
• Assist client with ROM as per plan of care and report changes to the Director of Nursing.
• Assist client in walking and transportation to appointments and activities.
• Maintain a safe environment following policies and procedures.
• Respect client rights at all times.

Pay: $19-$21/Hour

Responsibilities

• Provide client with hygiene care as directed including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping
• Take and record vital signs as well as height and weight, if necessary
• Assist client in active and passive range of motion defined by the plan of care, document observed changes, report any changes to the Director of Nursing
• Assist client in walking and transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, shopping
• Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards
• Ensure client’s rights are adhered to

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of a nursing assistant program
• Certification as a CNA
• Minimum 1 Year of experience working with patients with Alzheimer's/Dementia
• Certified CPR current and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Physical provided clearing you to do CNA type work
• Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiving experience is required
• Reliable Transportation to Downtown Chicago
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
