Responsibilities:

Certified Nursing Assistants play a vital role in fostering a warm and supportive environment where residents' well-being is prioritized. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, providing companionship, and creating a homelike atmosphere that values dignity, respect, and individualized attention.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Collaborate with nursing and healthcare teams for coordinated care
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Help with mobility, including transferring and repositioning
  • Assist during mealtimes, ensuring proper nutrition and dietary needs
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and emotional states
Requirements:
  • Valid CNA certification in Indiana
  • Ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and bending
