Location

UMC is seeking C.N.A's for our Bristol Glen Senior Care Community in Newton, NJ. Bristol Glen provides person-directed care in a home-like environment to ensure exceptional care and quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care activities for residents
• Complete daily skin checks and report changes to nurses
• Participate in dining activities, including serving and feeding residents as appropriate
• Share resident preferences with staff using proper communication methods
• Document and communicate care tasks in the point of care kiosk
• Attend interdisciplinary team care plan meetings
• Assist residents with adaptive equipment and restorative nursing principles
• Follow individualized care plans and observe residents' needs
• Record vital signs and weights as instructed
• Perform treatment tasks under supervision
• Engage in ongoing training and team meetings

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months experience in long-term care preferred
• Valid CNA certification in New Jersey
