Job Details

Responsibilities
  1. Record residents' medical history accurately.
  2. Take and record measurements such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
  3. Observe residents under treatment to identify progress and medication side-effects.
  4. Monitor residents’ condition including fluid intake/output and update patient charts.
  5. Administer injections, medications, enemas, and dress wounds.
  6. Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
  7. Provide emotional and psychological support.
  8. Communicate with residents’ families for advice, comfort, and instructions.
Requirements
  1. Valid NY Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  2. At least 1 year of LTC experience; SNF experience preferred.
  3. Effective communication skills in English.
  4. Professionalism and confidentiality.
  5. Ability to work well within a team and under pressure.
