Job summary

Avondale Health and Rehabilitation Center in Humboldt, TN is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our compassionate team. You will work with nursing staff to assist residents with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and ensure comfort in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.

Day shift is available (6:30 AM–6:30 PM). Active Tennessee CNA certification required; LTC/rehab experience preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• CNA Certification in Tennessee required.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers and exercise programs.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight and other health indicators.
• Observe residents' condition and report concerns to supervisors.
• Support residents' nutritional needs with meals, hydration and feeding as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, including beds and linens.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Document care provided in medical records and charts.
• Communicate effectively with residents, facilities and team members.
• Respond promptly to call lights and urgent needs.

Avondale Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)to join our growing team in Humboldt, Tennessee. In this role, you will work closely with our nursing staff to provide excellent care to our residents, assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Hiring for day shift! (6:30AM-6:30PM)

CNA Requirements

• -Active CNA Certification in Tennessee

• -Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred

• -Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• -Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed

CNA Responsibilities
