Job summary

Friendly Faces Senior Care in the Houston area is seeking dedicated CNAs and HHAs to join our home health care team serving Pearland, Manvel, and surrounding Brazoria County communities. We offer flexible shifts, including full-time and part-time, with competitive pay and opportunities for continuing training.

You will work in a one-on-one setting, providing essential personal care to elderly clients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide dignity and respect in daily elderly care.
• Capable of following care plans and instruction.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene assistance and daily living support.
• Remind clients to take medications and assist with mobility.
• Help with mobility around the home and accompany appointments.
• Communicate clearly with clients and family members.
• Assist with errands, shopping, and light housekeeping.
• Report any incidents and emergencies promptly.

Responsibilities for our CNA/Caregivers:

• Provide hygiene assistance for elderly patients by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• The ability to communicate with clients and family members
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including preparing, serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications for our CNA/Caregivers:

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
