Job summary

Azalea Home Care is expanding its team in Gainesville and Buford, GA, offering both part-time and upcoming full-time hours. The role focuses on hands-on home health support with CNAs, under nurse-led mentorship in a caregiver-first environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and an active CNA license (state-specific).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain—employer-paid.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift/transfer clients and perform basic charting.
• Empathy, professionalism, and commitment to client dignity and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on support: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers.
• Promote mobility and strength: ROM exercises, walking, therapy routines.
• Monitor health: check vitals, track intake, report changes.
• Provide medication cues and document adherence.
• Support daily life: meals, light housekeeping, errands, companionship.
• Advocate for safety: infection-control and fall-prevention protocols, EMR notes.
