Kindred Hospital Chattanooga is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support licensed staff in delivering patient care in a 49-bed long-term acute care setting. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and help prepare rooms for admissions and discharges.

Under the direction of RNs, you will perform routine procedures, respond to patient calls, and help with meals. The role requires a high school diploma, CNA and BLS certifications, and at least six months in a care

Formación

• Minimum six months’ experience in acute or long-term care facility.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS certification.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to document care.
• Able to organize tasks and work under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate with other departments.

Responsabilidades

• Assist nursing staff with patient care and activities of daily living.
• Take and record vital signs and document accurately.
• Prepare rooms and assist in admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Respond to call lights and paging system promptly.
• Assist with routine treatments under RN guidance.
• Support meals and feeding as needed.
