Job summary

Sapphire Ridge Health and Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily care, bathing, feeding and mobility. Join a team focused on resident-centered care and high-quality service.

This role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and adherence to safety and confidentiality. CPR certification is preferred, and NC CNA certification is required to provide compassionate, reliable assistance.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.
• Current / active CPR certification, preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record patient vital signs and assist with lifting, moving and transporting residents.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff and assist the nurse as directed.

Shift Details:

All shifts available, 8 hour and 12 hour

What you will do:

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.

• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.

• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.

• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.

• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

What you need to have:

• Willingness to make a difference!

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.

• Current / active CPR certification, preferred.
