Job summary

Elevate Health and Rehab, a member of the Ascent Healthcare Management family, is seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for night shifts in Asheville, NC. We offer daily pay, a supportive team, and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulating, taking vital signs, and reporting changes to nursing staff. Must hold NC CNA certification and have good English communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.
• Current/active CPR certification, preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record patient vital signs, assisting with lifting, moving and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager; ask clarifying questions as needed.
• Communicate effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.
