Job summary

Orchard Valley Health and Rehabilitation is seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Certified Medication Aides (CMA). We offer wage increase packages and Daily Pay, a voluntary benefit allowing you to access earned pay on your schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.
• Current/active CPR certification preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record patient vital signs, assist with lifting, moving and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager; ask questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.
