Job summary

Ridge Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to tend to residents with compassion and professionalism. You will assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the nursing team while maintaining confidentiality.

We offer a supportive work environment, flexible shifts (8- and 12-hour), and opportunities for training within a resident-centered facility in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active NC Nursing Assistant certification.
• CPR certification active preferred.
• Strong English communication, both verbal and written.
• Professionalism with confidentiality.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' daily needs: bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulating.
• Record vital signs and assist with lifting and transport.
• Recognize changes and report to nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Assist nurse with duties as directed.

Shift Details:

All shifts available, 8 hour and 12 hour

What you will do:

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

What you need to have:

• Willingness to make a difference!
• Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.
• Current / active CPR certification, preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure.
