ScionHealth is seeking a Nursing Assistant for Kindred Hospital Rancho, a 55-bed long-term acute care facility in Rancho Cucamonga. The role supports professional nursing staff with ADL care, emotional support, and basic clinical tasks under RN supervision.

The position emphasizes patient comfort, accurate vital signs, and collaboration with the care team. Minimum six months in acute or long-term care and valid CNA/BLS are required; full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum six months’ experience in acute or long-term care facility.
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Consults with and keeps supervisor informed of unit activities, needs, and problems related to patient care.
• Provides general nursing care such as positioning the patient, lifting, turning, and assisting in the use of bed pans and other supplies.
• Takes and records vital signs and measurements; documents promptly.
• Prepares patient room and bed for admission and transfers; maintains cleanliness and comfort.
• Assists in patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures; handles patient belongings.
