ScionHealth's Kindred Hospital Los Angeles is hiring a Nursing Assistant to support licensed staff in patient care in the Los Angeles area. You'll assist with activities of daily living, monitor patients, and help ensure comfort and safety in a fast-paced acute care setting.

The role requires a current Nursing Assistant Certification, BLS, a minimum six months of acute or long-term care experience, and good English communication. Pay ranges from $23.00 to $25.36 per hour, plus a $7,500 bonus.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have good and regular attendance.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to organize tasks, develop action plans, set priorities and function under stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned area.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Takes and records vitals and documents data timely.
• Prepare patient room for admission, transfer, or discharge; ensure equipment and environment are ready.
• Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures and manage belongings.
• Answer call lights, telephone, and paging system; respond appropriately.
• Perform routine treatment procedures under RN direction.
• Assist with restraints under RN supervision.
• Support RN/LVN/LPN with more complex treatments.
• Serve and remove patient meal trays and assist with feeding.
