Job summary

Kindred Hospital Aurora is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to support patient care in a long-term acute care setting. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, and help with admissions, transfers, and discharge procedures under supervision.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, current Nursing Assistant certification and BLS. Prior acute or long-term care experience is preferred. This role is based on-site in Aurora, CO with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must have good and regular attendance.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Takes and records vitals and inputs data accurately.
• Prepares patient rooms and assists with admissions, transfers and discharge procedures.
• Responds to call lights, calls, and paging system promptly.
• Supports routine treatment procedures under RN supervision.
• Assists with patient feeding and meal service.
