Job summary

CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to support unit care and daily living activities under supervision. You will handle charting, patient hygiene, ADLs, and patient comfort, while communicating with the health care team.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, active CNA license in IL, BLS within 30 days, and familiarity with Windows/Office. Prior acute care experience is preferred; shift is 7:00 am–7:30 pm with every third weekend.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; active CNA license in IL.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with health care team, patients, and visitors clearly.
• Assembles and processes patient charts and maintains accurate records.
• Assists with activities of daily living under RN/LPN supervision.
• Maintains clean and safe nursing station and environment.
• Assists with patient hygiene and comfort needs; responds to call lights.
