Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding.
• Prior blood-drawing experience.
• Strong documentation and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers nursing care using the nursing process on an assigned unit.
• Maintains accurate patient records of care provided.
• Administers medications and IV therapies per protocol.
• Plans education and discharge needs for patients and families.
• Responds to emergencies and escalates when needed.
• Collaborates with health care team to deliver comprehensive care.
